Fully recognised by the major insurance companies, we provide fast access to the most technically advanced diagnostic imaging and image guided surgical techniques (Interventional Radiology).
The Radiology Clinic has a Computer X Ray facility, a diagnostic ultrasound (including Doppler imaging) and an onsite system to view diagnostic imaging obtained at other local and national healthcare facilities. We offer a full range of X-Ray and Ultrasound imaging diagnostics along with ultrasound image guided procedures. The Radiology Clinic also has a network of links with other imaging centres within Birmingham and the UK to advise and arrange other diagnostic imaging as required. These imaging modalities include computer tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Image guided surgery (Interventional Radiology).
We believe that you should be able to choose your Radiologist as you would your Physician or Surgeon. Here at the Radiology Clinic we can oversee all your diagnostic imaging and image guided treatments including the specialist reporting of your scans.
The Radiology Clinic is able to receive referrals from patients, GP’s, Medical Consultants, Clinics, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Sports physicians and Podiatrists.
We also provide a second opinion service to review patients imaging whether directly from the patient or their referrers.

Located in a modern, purpose-built facility in Edgbaston, The Radiology Clinic is part of the Francis Road Clinic which offers a range of private healthcare services.
Parking
Free parking is available at the rear of our building, just two doors down from the main entrance. Once you arrive, please enter through the gates, turn left, and park in the designated Midland Health parking area.
Alternatively, there is extensive paid public parking just across the road at Birmingham Broadway a two minute walk away.
Public Transport
For those using public transport, our clinic is well-connected to the rest of Birmingham:
- Bus: Our clinic is easily accessible by public transport, with several bus routes passing nearby. The closest bus stop is just a short walk from our location. The following routes serve the area: 35, 50, 80, X8. These buses run regularly and stop at Francis Road, which is a few minutes' walk from our clinic.
- Train: The closest train station is Fiveways Railway Station, approximately a 15-minute walk from the clinic. This station provides regular services into Birmingham New Street Station, making it easy for patients coming from further afield.
- Tram: The Edgbaston Village tram stop is also nearby, offering a convenient way to reach the clinic. It’s just a short walk from the tram stop to the clinic.
